365 Day Online Returns*
At Hargroves Cycles our priority is to ensure that you are highly satisfied with your purchase. In the unlikely event that you are not we offer a 365 day online return policy in which you can receive a full refund.
Any item including bikes (but with the exception of food) can be returned to us for any reason provided it is received by us in an unused condition in or with its original packaging.
Online returns can only be returned to us by distance postal methods, i.e we can't accept returns for online orders via our stores.
Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase. Credit & debit card refunds must be made to the card used for the original purchase and can take 3 - 5 working days to appear back in your bank account.
* Please Note that PayPal purchases are limited to 60 day returns due to their own restrictions on refund timescales.
Returning Goods *Except Bikes
For customers who have logged in to buy and want to return your purchase simply login to "my account" and click on Returns/Warranty Requests. Follow the onscreen instructions to request a return, we will then approve the request at which point you can send the goods back to us.
For guest users who want to return your items please following this link to our RMA section: Guest RMA Return The same process as above then applies.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is returned to us in a safe and secure manner and that it returns in saleable condition (in original packaging and including all warranty cards, manuals and accessories).

If an item is faulty or an incorrect item has been sent we will look to refund reasonable costs to your original payment method. When this is not possible we can offer a store credit for the value of the postage charge. We wont credit the full postage cost if an expensive service has been used where a cheaper alternative was available e.g. Using Special Delivery when 1st Class Recorded could have been used.
Returning Bicycles / Bulky Items
If you wish to return bikes or bulky items such as bikes, forks, turbo trainers please contact our Returns Department to arrange a special courier collection. Contact us on our email address firstname.lastname@example.org
We can arrange collection for you from your home or work address, using our couriers (NB all postages costs are payable by you), Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm
Please be aware that rebooking fees will be applied if you miss a pick up arrangement.
Please note: Depending on the reasons for returning an item a charge may be incurred for this service.
Warranty Returns / Bikes
For warranty returns on bikes we will require you to contact us via email at email@example.com with a description of the issue and the bike you have. Warranty is done on a case by case basis & we often need images of the problem areas to send off to the manufacturers and time frames can vary greatly depending on availability of replacements or repairs.
Warranty Returns / Parts
For warranty returns on parts please follow the procedures above for standard returns. You can request an exchange for a faulty item. (You can't request a refund for faulty items after 14 days) We will then approve the request and you can send the goods back to us. Warranty is done on a case by case basis and there are no specific time frames for completion. Each item is returned to manufacturer for inspection to replace or repair. Final decision is given by the manufacturer so if they are not satisfied a warranty request can be denied.
If you wish to return an item that is unsuitable or not required you will be liable for the return delivery. If you wish to then try a different size or style, delivery will be charged again to post the item back to you. Please contact us for further advice.
