365 Day Online Returns

At Hargroves Cycles our priority is to ensure that you are highly satisfied with your purchase. In the unlikely event that you are not we offer a 365 day online return policy* in which you can receive a full refund. Any item including bikes (but with the exception of food) can be returned to us for any reason provided it is received by us in an unused condition in or with its original packaging.

To return any item to us you will need to fill in the returns form on the back of your invoice and send it back to us with your un-wanted item. If you need a new form Download one here

Small Items - Parts & Accessories

Include the returns form and send it to us with the delivery company of your choosing - easy peasy!

Larger Items - Bikes / Bulky Items

If you wish to return bikes or bulky items such as forks, turbo trainers please contact our Returns Department to arrange a special courier collection. Contact us on our email address returns@hargrovescycles.co.uk We can arrange collection for you from your home or work address, using our couriers (You may be required to cover postages costs, unless the return is a warranty or an error on our part ), Mon-Fri 9am-5.00pm

Frequently asked questions

How do I return my product?

For parts and accessories, complete the returns form above and enclose with your item(s) being returned. Package suitably for carriage with a reputable courier and obtain proof of postage. For bikes and other bulky items, you may contact us so we can help arrange collection of the item(s). Please allow 2 working days for the collection to be arranged after supplying us with the following information:

  • Dimensions of the parcel
  • Collection address
  • Days & Times suitable for collection
  • Collection Contact
  • Collection Contact Telephone Number

Please be aware it is your responsibility to ensure the item is packaged securely and reaches us in the same condition you received it. For your convenience, you may use your local Hargroves Cycles store as a drop-off point for your return. Please be aware the refund or exchange will be processed once the item is received by our customer service team.

Who pays the cost for my item to be returned?

Depending on the reasons for returning an item you may be liable for carriage costs. If the reason for returning is an error on our part, we will reimburse you for postage costs up to the value of a reasonable service. If your order has arrived correctly, there are no problems with the product and you simply wish to return it for a refund or exchange then you will be liable for the cost of postage.

How long will my return take?

Once received by our customer service team, we will process your return within 48 hours. Please note, refunds may take 2-5 working days to appear in your bank account. In the event of an exchange, the replacement item may not be available for immediate despatch. We will make you aware of any delayed despatch times where necessary.

Where does my refund appear?

A refund will only be made back to the original method of payment. Where a bank card has been used, the refund will only be made to the card that was used in the original transaction.

What is a bulky item?

The following are examples of bulky items:

International returns?

Depending on the reasons for returning an item you may be liable for carriage costs. Purchased with finance?

If you have an issue with an item purchased using finance, please email us at your soonest convenience with as much detail as possible. Useful information

You can return the unused item in original condition within 14 days from the day after the day on which the agreement is signed by you to have your finance agreement cancelled and any deposit paid refunded in full.

Cyclescheme?

You can return the unused bike and accessories in original condition within 14 calendar days beginning the day after you collect/receive the equipment. Still unsure?

Warranty claim?

If you feel an item has an issue covered by warranty, please contact us with as much information as possible so we may assess the issue as efficiently as possible. Useful information

After 30 days from date of despatch, we may repair or exchange the product to resolve the issue. Warranty claims are dealt with on a case by case basis and contacting us does not guarantee a successful claim, however customer satisfaction is our highest priority and we aim to help where possible.
