We offer Free Delivery on all orders over £9 to Mainland UK addresses(orders under £9 will incur a £1.99 delivery charge). In stock items are usually despatched within 2 - 4 working days.
Bikes and Large/Expensive items are sent via TNT Courier which is a track-able service. On the day of dispatch you will receive an email from TNT who will provide you with a tracking number which you can use to track the delivery of your bike at TNT Tracking Website
Parts & Accessories are sent via 2nd Class Royal Mail. Items over £50 are sent 1st Class Recorded Signed For and you will receive the code via email on the day of dispatch.
Delivery charges are assigned to certain parts of the UK. Delivery on these items is usually 2 working days from dispatch.

The Post Codes that are included in Scottish Highlands are as follows.

Delivery is charged per item for bikes. If a bike contains bulky items and/or Parts & Accessories, only the bike delivery charge is applied.

Parts & Accessories – This includes all other product types.
Lost or Delayed Items
When using Royal Mail we cannot class an item as lost until 15 working days (Mon-Fri) has elapsed. Only after this time would we be able to send a replacement or issue a refund. (For which we then launch a compensation claim with Royal Mail)
VAT & GST
Channel Island deliveries are exempt from VAT. However all consignments delivered to Jersey with a value exceeding £400 (including delivery costs), will be subject to a ‘Goods and Services Tax’ (GST) of 3% of the value of the consignment. The responsibility for the payment of these tax lies with the customer (receiver of the goods) and not Hargroves Cycles. If the tax is not paid, our couriers will be unable to deliver the consignment.

International Delivery Methods
Bikes – Bikes are delivered internationally via Courier. A signature will be required upon delivery.
In stock bikes are usually delivered in 4-9 working days.
On the day of dispatch you will receive and email with a tracking number which you can use to track the delivery of your bike.
Bulky Items – Bulky items are delivered internationally via Courier.
Parts & Accessories – These are delivered via Royal Mail International Postage services.
VAT & Duty
VAT is automatically removed for orders delivered to the Channel Islands and outside the European Community.
VAT cannot be removed for deliveries within the European Community.
Some countries may charge you import tax for certain item. If you have any queries regarding this then please contact you local tax office who should be able to assist you further. Unfortunately Hargroves Cycles cannot advise on import tax and duty enquiries.
The British Forces Post Office (or British Field Post Office) (BFPO) is an agency that provides a postal service to HM Forces, separate from that provided by Royal Mail. BFPO addresses are used for the delivery of mail in the UK and around the world.
When sending mail from the UK to a member of HM Forces serving overseas, the sender must address it to the appropriate BFPO number, and not to the country in which that person is based.
The BFPO has strict size restrictions on packages delivered through their network. As a result we are unable to deliver bikes and bulky items to BFPO addresses.
Entering a BFPO address
In order to place an order online for delivery to a BFPO address please enter your registered card address in the billing address fields.
Then, enter your BFPO address as the delivery address, but for country select UK
Please note that we cannot deduct VAT from BFPO orders, as the items are delivered to an address within the UK (BFPO handling office) for onward delivery.
Bikes – How We Deliver
At Hargroves Cycles we take pride in giving you the best possible bike purchasing experience, whether that is in our stores or online.
One area we pride ourselves on is the levels of care & effort we take to ensure that your bike reaches you in a safe & secure condition with only a relatively small amount of assembly required before you're out on the road or on the trail.
Most of the bikes we send will be brand new unopened from our warehouse. We do sell & send bikes that have been in our stores, but we ensure we only send bikes that are in a brand new condition.

As a UK based retailer some of the products we stock can only be delivered to addresses not outside of the EU.
Products currently affected are:

- Scott Bikes
- Bianchi Bikes
- Specialized Bikes
- Mavic Wheels
We are unable to send any Electric Bikes outside of the UK, due to their weight.
These restrictions are dictated by our suppliers and form part of our dealer agreements. The restrictions cover all mail order sales.
While we are unable to physically stop an item being ordered through the website we will cancel the order before it goes into the processing stage & a full refund will be provided.
