    About Us


    Our Southampton store sports a large range of bikes from Specialized, Scott, Cube, Ridgeback, Felt, Bianchi & others, not to mention a huge array of clothing, accessories and spare parts.
    Managed by Byron, you'll be sure to find enthusiastic staff who are all eager to help. Our staff come from various backgrounds, such as Cyclocross, road, mountain and other disciplines, so you'll be sure to find somebody who has real life experience with the product you're after.
    We repair bikes of all types and from any manufacturer.

    Our Millbrook store is a certified Cube lifetime dealer. Which means we carry of a wider range of Cube products than most other stockist. Our staff regularly attend Cube training courses to ensure the best customer service and after care.

    Workshop pricing


    Our workshops are staffed by cyctech qualified mechanics, ensuring that any work undertaken on your bicycle will be of the highest quality. To book your bike in at the workshop give the store a call or simply pop in to your local store. Our staff will be able to advise you on how to proceed and what time frame will be involved.

    • Safety check tyres and inflate to recommended pressures

    Suspension Service Menu


    Lower legs removed, cleaned and inspected, new lower leg oil used, new wiper seals fitted if required (additional cost)

    Lower legs removed, lowers and uppers cleaned and inspected. Damper cartridge cleaned and inspected, spring cartridge cleaned, inspected and greased. New Air spring seals fitted as required, new wiper seals fitted. New oils used.

    Air can removed, all parts cleaned and inspected. New oil used and parts fitted if required (additional cost)

    Hargroves CC

  exists to provide a contemporary, friendly and holistic environment for cyclists to enjoy our sport. We are open to members from road, mountain-bike, cyclo-cross and track disciplines whether beginner, recreational, enthusiast or competitor. There is something for everyone so check out the calendar or forum and come along!

    Sotonia Cycling club


    Sotonia Cycling Club is based in Southampton, Hampshire and draws its members from around the local area. We are an ‘all round’ cycling club taking part in and organising events across most disciplines of the sport. We have over 250 members making Sotonia one of the biggest clubs in the south of England. Our members compete in all aspects of the sport: road racing, time trialling, cyclo cross, track cycling, sportives and mountain biking.

    Southampton & Romsey CTC


    Southampton and Romsey CTC is the local CTC group for the area covering Southampton, Romsey, Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford and Waterside, and we regularly welcome riders from outside this area. We offer a range of cycle rides and also organise special events throughout the year. We also campaign locally for better cycle facilities.

    Track Cycling at Calshot Velodrome


    Calshot has the only indoor banked velodrome in the South of England. This national standard track was built in 1997 and can be used by a wide range of cyclists from novices to international standard. As long as you can ride a bike you can have a go under the watchful eye of a coach.

    Cycling in The New Forest


    The New Forest is a fabulous place, especially for all you budding cyclists. With an extensive choice of cycling routes across the forest you are in for a real treat. The network is easily accessible by rail or road so you can bring your own or hire bikes when you arrive.

    NEW Force MTB Club - New Forest


    New Force are a mountain bike club based around the New Forest, Southampton and Winchester area. New Force always welcome new members to participate and contribute to the club.

    Hargroves Cycles employees are enthusiastic and highly motivated. Excellent working conditions and incentives mean we employ some of the best sales assistants and cycle mechanics around. Many of our staff have been with us for a long time however new roles do arise and we are often looking for new staff for our stores in Southampton, Winchester, Fareham, Swindon and Chichester.

    Who we look for

    Although first class mechanical skills aren't essential in our new employees, we do look for people who carry themselves well in front of our customers. Applicants who are enthusiastic and hard working, with excellent communication skills are highly sought after. Obviously we like employing cyclists and a keen interest in cycling is essential to success within the company.
