Fresh Goods: Warehouse Round-up – March 2016
Lots of new products have just arrived at the Warehouse…Here’s what I’ve found!
In the flesh, the first thing you’ll notice about the new Fox Metah mountain bike helmet is the large peak or digger bucket as it’s probably best described. When I put the helmet on for the first time it instantly felt comfortable with very little adjustment needed which is a good sign. This lid has plenty of back protection and the retention system feels secure and is mega easy to use. Given the amount of helmets that have just arrived it looks like we will be stocking every colourway including the pebble dash effect which is really different and kinda cool. RRP on this lovely lid is £99.99
The new Camelbak Podium Limited Edition 710ml Bottles caught my eye. They offer 100ml more fluid capacity over the standard 610ml bottles Podium bottles. There isn’t much you can say about a bottle but having used these myself for the last 6 months they do everything a bottle needs to do. You can put them in the dish washer and the valves provide plenty of fluid when you need it most. The bottles retail at £10.99 each.
As I was strolling down one warehouse aisle I noticed a stack of Troy Lee Designs helmets that had just arrived. The new Troy Lee Designs A1 Reflex Helmets look pretty awesome. Troy Lee have introduced some new colours to the range and both helmets seem to fit well. The offer plenty of padding on the inside and the straps are positioned perfectly. The A1 Drone is aimed at the Enduro / All-mountain rider.

Suit you sir! I couldn’t stop without taking a picture of the new Fox indicator jersey in camo and grey – The jersey fabric feels really nice and has a good quality feel to it. There’s a nice little badge on the back which is a nice touch and it also has a little zipped pocked which is perfect for keys, cash or an energy bar…I might have to order one of these myself! RRP on this jersey is £41.99
Last but not least the POC Tectal Race Helmet. There’s no doubt this is a lush helmet. The grey looks awesome, but they also do a black/green and white/orange version. The helmet is packed full of features including a low-tech but super handy goggle clip and a high-tech Recco reflector for just in case you get caught in an avalanche riding off-piste.
If the RRP price tag of £170 doesn’t scare you too much this is definitely a lid worth investing in and you won’t be disappointed either.
That’s it for this week, thanks for checking out the latest fresh goods.
