Key Bikes to Look Out For | Swindon Demo Day
Swindon Demo Day is back on the 30th April 2017, down at Croft Country Park. The essence of the day is for you to test some of the best 2017 mountain bikes along the Croft Trails (which we’ve done a little sneak peek of). The mountain bikes will be supplied by some of the industry’s leading brands, with a wide variety of 29″, 650B, Plus sizes and even some electric mountain bikes! In the same vein, as the Croft Trails sneak peek, we’ve decided to pull together some key bikes for you to look out for (and take for a test ride) on the day!
The Scott Genius 710 Plus, is one hell of a bike. As Scott themselves say “Any Trail, Any Time” The Genius is capable of pretty much anything you throw at it, and now with added Plus sized wheels, whatever you couldn’t tackle before will just be a bump in the trail.
Who knew adding electric assist technology to a hardy mountain bike, that you’d get this bad boy? The Scott E-Spark 710 Plus will make you look at trails in a whole new light. You can also save your legs when tackling those ascents.
The Specialized Enduro Elite Carbon is hella fun. It runs as if the bike is glued to the ground, giving you one stable ride. It’s sleek, it’s light, it’s fast.
You can try out the hardtail delight that is the Cannondale Beast of the East 1. Designed especially for 27.5+ tyres, with the added width it gives you an incredible contact patch that keeps you stuck to the trails, round corners and over those tricky tree roots.
Take on Croft Trails with the Cannondale Moterra LT 1. Cannondale says it’s all with “True, no-compromise, e-powered mountain bike performance for true, no-compromise mountain bikers.”
For those heavy metal fans, the GT Pantera Expert is hardtail that will roll over everything. Increased traction and grip allows you to corner like a pro, and lets you take on any conditions thrown at you at high speeds.
The GT Sensor Carbon Expert is an assault on the senses. One of the most versatile full suspensions for the modern technical trail rider. Essentially the Sensor Carbon Expert is the Swiss Army Knife of trail bikes. If you have the chance, test one of these!
Remember to sign up to Swindon Demo Day, all test bikes are first come, first served basis on the day. For more info click here.
