20 minutes in to the race, Ian Field cemented his dominance opening a huge gap from the trailing pack.
With Ian now guaranteed victory (barring any un-foreseen incidents) the trailing group started to take shape.
Jody continued his solid ride and finished third after a hard fought battle through the last technical section.
Van Den Bosch showed his experience, passing riders that hadn’t paced themselves to take fourth position.

“Yesterday was a great start to the National Trophy Series for me winning the opening round. Once again the new bikes and equipment performed really well and every race I do I get that bit more comfortable and there confident with them. Winning by such a margin has given me a big
confidence boost going into the opening round of the World Cup Series which starts next weekend in Valkenburg, Netherlands”
