QE Cycle Fest – Top 4 Reasons To Camp
If you are in to mountain biking and are looking to get the family out for a weekend then look no further. The Hargroves Cycles QE Cycle Fest is a fun weekend mountain biking at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park (Hampshire). With Lots to see and do here are top 4 reasons to make a weekend of it and camp.
1. Take advantage of the FREE campsite. Queen Elizabeth Country Park is not a designated campsite so this is one of the only opportunities throughout the year that you can come along and camp onsite. You don’t need to book just simply turn up and camp.
2. By camping you can make a weekend of the event. With kids racing on the Saturday and with over 120 bikes available to test across two days you can test quite a few.
3. Camping means that you do not need to drive so with an onsite beer tent you can come along and socialise with like minded riders and enjoy a cold beer after a long day testing bikes. For the competitive ones among us who would have raced the Day & Night Enduro Lit By Exposure Lights I am certain that you will be gasping for a beer after the race.
4. For spectators come and camp and cheer on your riders, whilst watching the race you can chill out in the main arena and have a few beers or you find a viewing point on the course and socialise with the riders after the race.
